Michelle’s work is located in Laurentia: Great Lakes Bioregion on the original territories of the Anishinaabeg—the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi nations, forming the Council of Three Fires. She acknowledges the Indigenous peoples across the globe, the original stewards of the lands we inhabit, recognizing their enduring connection to their territories and honoring their histories, cultures, and ongoing struggles for sovereignty.
